Annexure: Domicile Requirements for Some StatesBihar: Admission is open to Bihar natives, domiciled, refugees, Exceptions: government of India nominees, children of employees of Central Governments, public sector undertakings and University agencies located in the state. Gujarat: Candidates who have passed qualifying examinations from Gujarat State. Exceptions: Children of Central Government employees transferred to Gujarat within three years, officers of the United Nations, officers of the All India Services allotted to Gujarat or deputed outside the State, Gujarat State employees posted outside, officers of Gujarat Government working at place where such educational facilities are not available and persons whose native place is Gujarat but are residing abroad. Haryana: Haryana residents (80% of seats are reserved for candidates passing the qualifying examinations form institutions located in Haryana and 20% seats for Haryana domicile irrespective of the location of institutions). Kerala: Indian Citizens of Kerala origin. Exceptions: Government nominees, candidates selected through All-India Entrance Examinations, candidates sponsored under Reciprocal Quota by Governments of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, candidates who are non-Keralites but have undergone the qualifying examination in Kerala and are children of the Central Government servants, Defence personnel posted in Kerala and are children of the Central Government servants, employees who are serving the State Government, employees of University agencies and persons permanently employed in any government recognised institutions in Kerala. Madhya Pradesh: Candidates should have studied in State institutions for three consecutive years during five years preceding the year in which admissions is sought, or bona fide residents of the State. Children of State government employees, All India Service (State Cadre), Central Governments, Public sector undertakings posted in the State, and persons settled in MP under resettlement scheme. Maharashtra; Candidates should have passed Class 10 and Class 12 examinations in institutions located in Maharashtra. Exceptions: Children of persons domiciled in the State, employees of Central government and public sector undertaking posted in Maharashtra. Punjab: Candidates who have passed qualifying examinations located in Punjab. Seats are also available for candidates passing qualifying examination from institutions located outside the States. Allocation of seats, condition of domicile and eligibility vary from institution to institution. Rajasthan: Candidates who have studied for the last five years in Rajasthan, children of bona fide residents of the State who have passed the qualifying examination from Rajasthan. Tamilnadu: Candidates domiciled in Tamil Nadu who have passed the Class IX, Class X and HSC examination in Tamil Nadu. Exceptions: Children of employees of the Central government public sector undertakings, government recognised institutions who are serving in Tamil Nadu for five years. West Bengal: Residents of West Bengal who have been residing in the State continuously for ten years, or whose parents are permanent residents of West Bengal.
